Chris Moon says:
"An essential CD for those into the outsider NZ 'pop' scene--you know, the one that includes the likes of This Kind of Punishment, Pin Group, Victor Dimisich Band/Terminals, Wreck Small Speakers on Expensive Stereos...
In fact, if you know the Xpressway sound (that label Bruce Russell ran back in the day) you should know what to expect here.
That SHOULD translate for most of you as: Really fucking great. Buy now. Add to cart. Etc.
But not everyone thinks like I do. Milton's music comes just half a decade too late to be part of the classic Xpressway sound, but it is totally there. In my world this is what pop music would sound like!"

The 6 man rock ensemble whose roots grow deep in Brisbane's musical soil have, since 2001, been breeding a new hybrid strain of Rock.
LM has a unique sound that blends edgy hard rock with, soulful funk-metal overtures, vocal acrobatics and solid hip-grinding rhythm section grooves. Basically, no style is safe from the song writing talons of the Last Minute music machine. Whatever has feeling goes into the blend. But remember, it has to ROCK!
Coming from as diverse musical backgrounds as Jazz, Punk, Metal, Ska, Rock and Folk, Last Minute has a well of influence. However, music that lifts the spirit and infuses the listener with feeling and energy is a priority in the songwriting process. The flexibility of two flamboyant singers whose ability ranges from hip-hop to opera creates a spectacular "punch and judy" show of vocal ideas, harmonies and social misadventure.
Supports have included Rollerball, Giants of Science, Celibate Rifles, The Drugs, The Stalkers, Blowhard, The Disables. Before Last Minute, Ben Wilkes (guitar) with his previous band did pub supports for BodyJar, Powderfinger, Grinspoon and many more.
The track "Persona" has made it's way onto a number of local compilations and has proven to be a favourite on local radio, 4ZZZ and the online music sites. "Persona" with another track "Don't Stop" have also featured on the Australian Kite-Surfing League's Promotional DVD's and "Don't Stop" was a feature track on the winning entry in the 2005 Jack McCoy Short film Competition which is shown in more than 50 cinemas across the country.
In 2004 their tracks were aired on Fuel on a Kite Surfing Special. "Liverpool Kisses" was the feature track on the Fosters ASP World Tour footage - Quicksilver Pro Japan 2005. Last Minute also had a track "Persona" on the ASP Tour Footage on The Boost Pro, Tressles, California along with a number of other Last Minute tracks.
